Returns & Refunds Policy
1. Overview
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made from 4XX Online. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
This policy is designed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act where applicable, while reflecting the nature of limited streetwear releases.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are only accepted if an item is confirmed to be defective.
A product will be considered defective if it has:

Manufacturing faults

Print defects
-
Damage present at the time of delivery
3. Reporting a Defect
Customers must report defective items within 7 days of delivery.
To initiate a return, the following must be provided:

Order number

Clear photos showing the defect

Item in original condition, including original packaging

Failure to provide sufficient evidence or meet the reporting timeframe may result in the return being declined.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

Incorrect size selection

Change of mind

Items that have been worn, washed, or altered

Items not in original condition or missing packaging

Items without original tags

Sale or discounted items
5. Inspection & Approval
All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt.
4XX Online reserves the right to:

Reject returns if the item does not meet the criteria outlined in this policy

Reject claims where damage is determined to be caused by misuse, wear, or handling after delivery
6. Return Shipping
For approved defective items:

Return shipping will be arranged and covered by 4XX Online

A courier collection will be scheduled with the customer
Customers must ensure the item is securely packaged for collection.
7. Resolution Process
7.1 Primary Resolution — Replacement
Where a defect is confirmed, the default resolution is a replacement item, subject to stock availability.
7.2 Limited Releases (Drops & Collaborations)
Due to the limited nature of Drops and Collaborations:

Replacement items are not guaranteed

If a replacement is not available, the customer will receive store credit
8. Refunds
Refunds are not the standard resolution but may be issued where required by law.
Where a refund is approved:

It will be processed via the original payment method using PayFast

Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on payment processing times
9. Abuse & Protection
4XX Online reserves the right to:

Refuse returns that show signs of abuse of this policy

Limit or deny service to customers who repeatedly attempt to exploit return conditions
10. General

All return decisions are made at the reasonable discretion of 4XX Online, in line with applicable law
